Vietnam's Economy
Vietnam is mainly an agricultural country and 70% of the working population is engaged in agriculture. The main products of the country are brass, rubber and coal. In the south are brass and rubber, and in the north coal is the main export goods. Great efforts are being made to develop plants of secondary importance. These are corn, tea, coffee, cinnamon, pepper, sugarcane, large coconuts, tobacco, raw silk and cotton.
